URINARY TRACT INFECTION AMONG NEONATES PRESENTING WITH SEPSIS
Abstract
Neonatal sepsis is a life threatening condition which could leads to multiple organ failure. Urinary tract infection is a common comorbidity noted in neonates with sepsis which may be asymptomatic or have non-specific symptoms. Previous data shows that neonatal urinary tract infection may be the possibility in absence of congenital anomalies. But the frequency is not clearly known in our neonatal population.
